Q: Can I Run iTunes on my Kindle? I have a Kindle Fire HD, a great, low cost tablet that lets me apparently watch TV and movies in addition to just read books. And I have a bunch of movies and TV shows I've purchased from iTunes Store. Can I also watch them on my Kindle? By Dave Taylor asked on dailycamera.com.
The Kindle Fire is a tablet version of Amazon's Kindle e-book reader, which includes access to the Amazon App store, streaming movies and TV shows, and Kindle's e-books-was released to consumers in the United States on November 15, 2011. In September 2015, the Kindle Fire was upgraded to the latest edition with price of US$49.99 named "Fire 7".
You can access the Amazon Prime Video library through your Kindle Fire HD easily enough, but that's the problem: movies or TV shows you purchased from iTunes Store doesn't give you the license rights to also watch them on the Amazon platform, so you'd be out of luck. You have paid for the movies but you can't play them freely. It's not fair.
The protection systems of all iTunes movies and TV shows are DRM technological restrictions, which prevents you from copying or sharing all iTunes videos you purchased on Kindle Fire and other non-apple devices, or playing them on another devices without iTunes.
If you want to play iTunes movies on Amazon Kindle Fire, the first thing you must do is removing DRM. There are a number of third party program available for you. M4V Converter Plus for Win (or M4V Converter Plus for Mac) is such a M4V to Kindle Fire converter recommended for you. Install and launch the M4V Converter Plus on your PC. Click Add Movies button to add your videos from iTunes library, you can also drag and drop these M4V files to the main window. You can rename and clip the iTunes videos by clicking Movie Edit icon before conversion.
Click profile drop-down list on the bottom right corner. Find Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7-inch / 8.9-inch from Android Device section. You can also choose Lossless MP4 as output format, because Kindle Fire can compitable with MP4 perfectly.
Tips:You can customize the video and audio parameters by clicking the output format setting icon.
Click prifile blue box and all the imported iTunes videos will be converted one by one.
After the conversion finished, connect the Kindle Fire to your computer via Micro-USB cable. You will see the Fire pop up as a drive on your PC.
